Our Specialist Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Program engages students with the latest technology and opportunities to explore this exciting fast paced industry.
Open to students from Year 7, the Fremantle College Specialist ICT Program offers students the opportunity to participate in a specially designed curriculum that will engage them in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) learning to explore and solve real world issues. Enriched studies are facilitated by specialist teaching staff, and resourced with the latest digital equipment and contemporary learning environments. Students can continue through the program to complete pathways for their WACE, and aspire to further study or employment within the technology field. The Fremantle College Specialist ICT Program enables student to access competitions, excursions, guest speakers, industry partnerships and the latest technologies, and be immersed in a learning environment with like-minded peers. Special arrangements with Murdoch University, Challenger TAFE and CDM Australia will give your child priority access to ongoing links at these institutions and will enhance their ability to gain entry into tertiary institutions after completing Year 12.
